Ellie Verkerk

Ellie’s work as an MD, supervisor and vocal coach is infused with a passion for creating positive and collaborative working environments, with a strong emphasis on advocating for mental and vocal health. With a wide and varied career spanning major theatre venues to recording studios and beyond, Ellie also plays keytar, sings, and performs with her rock band.

THEATRE, CONCERTS & RECORDINGS INCLUDE

Recently, Ellie was the AMD on the Color Purple UK Tour, MD for The Burnt City with Punchdrunk, and Keys 1 for Lea Salonga’s Dream Again Tour at the Royal Albert Hall. MD and Musical Supervisor credits include: SIX (West End, UK Tour & NCL), Frankenstein (Blackeyed Theatre, UK Tour), Collabro (UK Greatest Hits Tour), The One (Chesney Hawkes and Charlton Pettus), Well Behaved Women (Lambert Jackson Productions), and The Last Five Years (Frankfürt Premiere). Other work includes: assisting the conductor and director for the filming and production of Celebrating John Lord, and the Teenage Cancer Trust: Bring Me The Horizon, both at the Royal Albert Hall. Her album recordings include My Parade (Stephanie Fearon), The MS Song Cycle (Rory Sherman/SimG Productions), Stitched Shoes and an Irish Wristwatch (Buswell – trumpet and piano), and Dear Pariah (piano and accordion).
